Please bring your own beach towels if you are planning to visit any nearby water spots. The pool towels provided are for use at the community pool, not at local lakes and reservoirs.
You may park in the garage or in the community parking around the corner. Do not park along the street. If you have a trailer that doesn’t fit in the garage, there are longer parking stalls throughout the community.
Food and drink are NOT allowed in the bedrooms or the carpeted living room and loft.
Please – no shoes in the carpeted areas.
There is a thermostat upstairs and down. They can be adjusted separately but because it’s the same system, it must be either set to heat or cool.
Cleaning: Our cleaning personnel clean floors, bathrooms, and launder all the sheets and towels. They are responsible for general maintenance; dusting, windows, and periodic cleaning of blankets and quilts. They also remove your garbage. Make sure you use the garbage cans next to the entrance to the home. The city cans are for use by the cleaning staff. If you run out of space you can put garbage in these cans but make sure your garbage is bagged and tied. This maintenance clean takes hours and over the years we’ve had the same staff with rave reviews.
Your Responsibility: We love sharing our home with you. Unlike a hotel, you have all the comforts of home and we’ve worked very hard to make sure your stay is comfortable. We do ask our guests to simply clean up any messes beyond the maintenance clean we provide. If quilts or duvets get soiled, we provide detergent, spot cleaner and a washer and dryer. If you use the grill or spill in the oven, please clean before you leave. In preparation for future guests, please clean and return the kitchen items and dishes to their designated places. It would be impossible for our staff to catch everything, so we really appreciate you leaving things in great condition for guests that follow you. We have rarely had guests that abuse this privilege, but if the cleaning goes beyond the normal clean, you will be assessed additional cleaning fees at our discretion.
